Mammography Technologist

Job description

This is a part-time Mammography Technologist position located at Morgan Hospital. The current schedule is Mon, Tue, Fri one week and Wed, Thurs, Fri the next, from 8a–4:30p. One Saturday per month is required. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants! Performs quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies utilizing a knowledge of anatomic positions. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Reviews prior imaging to attain and/or improve tissue visualization as compared to prior studies. Complies with FDA MQSA Regulations. Assists with mammographs, ultrasound, and MR guided breast localizations and biopsies. May perform screening breast ultrasound procedures as required by local facility. Sound like a perfect match?
