Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION: - Manage ocean and air import shipments from booking/pre-alert through final delivery - Coordinate with overseas offices, carriers, airlines, customs brokers, and trucking providers - Track shipments and ensure all milestones are updated accurately in the system - Review and validate shipping documents (BL, MAWB, HAWB, invoices, packing lists) - Ensure customs clearance is completed within required timelines - Monitor and proactively manage demurrage, detention, and storage exposure - Ensure all costs are captured, protected, and billed accurately and on time - Communicate shipment status and resolve issues with clients and internal teams - Maintain compliance with internal SOPs, KPIs, and billing requirements - Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Job requires the ability to use vision, adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen. - Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment. - Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location. - Job requires attendance and dependability.
