Associate Elevator Operator

Job description

Scoular is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating safe and reliable supply chain solutions for our customers. This role will also act as back up for our existing Scale Operator. - Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing grain while assisting with the weighing and grading of grain trucks. - Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.) - Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles, as well as performing general cleaning and housekeeping of bins and storage structures. - Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe practices or hazards. - Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to support operations. - Backup to w ork scales for unloads, loadouts and containers as needed. Weigh all trucks coming into and leaving the facility and directing trucks to the proper location for loading and unloading. Enter all customer and commodity information into tracking system.
