Buyer/Planner

Job description

Your Contribution As a Buyer/Planner at MAHLE, you will be responsible to oversee the supplier/subcontractor contract negotiations, issue purchase orders and /or EDI releases for materials/services, and supplier relationship management. This is a very visible role and the face/voice of MAHLE to our supply base. Highly analytical and able to influence action by conducting analysis, negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage an inventory, interface with quality on issues with stock and work within a budget. Time-management is a strength as some projects may see tight time deadlines and changing priorities which may generate high-stress. You desire to work as a team in offering the best possible alternatives, assist in resolving supplier issues and support a lean culture by ensuring supplier orders are transparent, allow for efficient inventory turns and service responsiveness.
