Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for the daily leadership and coordination of all shop-floor functions and activities with their shift, helping to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the department and to foster and support a positive work environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITES: - Forklift Operation & On-Floor Supervision - Distributing product, raw materials and scrap within Molding, Printing and Warehouse departments - Assist with order picking and staging areas – goal is to ensure as many loads as possible are picked and loaded - Using RF scanner to record movement of product - Loading and unloading of product onto trailers - Reconcile and investigate scanning errors when possible - Plant & Equipment Safety - Ensures all team members are trained and performing in a safe and efficient manner - Be involved in the accident/incident program; determine root causes, corrective actions and following-up to ensure completion - Correct unsafe acts or conditions, ensuring health and safety policies are followed - Perform daily unplanned inspections.
