Position Number: 118360: Classification Title: Maintenance Specialist Working Title: Painter Department: Facility Maintenance: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $37,740 Pay Basis: Annually POSITION OVERVIEW: JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent performs journey level tasks in surface preparation finishing and painting. This person may also be asked to assist other trades as needed in the field of Carpentry, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Locksmith duties. These duties include installation, inspection, maintenance, repair or replacement of machinery, mechanical equipment, piping, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, and locksmith-related tasks. The following list of specific statements of duties does not preclude management from assigning such duties if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position. Work assignments will come from work orders, blueprints, drawings, crude sketches, and verbal or written instructions.
