Department: 39123 Kenosha - Home Care Occupational Therapy Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Racine/Kenosha county 8-430 pm Mon-Fri. No holidays or weekends. Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Implementation of Occupational Therapy treatment programs for patients with multiple and specialized diagnoses safely and effectively, as planned, in conjunction with OTR. - 1)Performs therapy treatment programs on inpatients and/or outpatients. - 2)Instructs patients and patients' families in home programs and provide education as needed. - 3)Trains patients in ADL skills and use of ADL equipment. - 4)Monitors patient response to treatment modifying as necessary. - 5)Follows established procedure and safety precautions in the application and use of modalities. - 6)Acts as an assistant to the OTR when the OTR is performing tests, evaluation, and treatment procedures. - 7)Conferences with physicians and other allied health professionals to make recommendations for occupational therapy treatment programs. - 8)Schedules patients according to need/priority. - 9)Maximizes support personnel by delegating as approp...
