Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Level 4

Job description

As a Shipping & Receiving lead, you will be responsible for managing the picking operations within our organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials in and out of our facility. You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Groveport, OH location on an On-site work schedule. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to established procedures. · Pick and pack materials to deliver to the production line. · Maintain accurate inventory records and regular Cycle Counts. · Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues. · Prepare, package and ship outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. · Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. · Be able to lift 25 pounds for job responsibilities. · Able to work mandatory OT as required, including weekends. · Ability to train new hires and coach and/or recognize staff, fostering a culture of safety and productivity. · Track record of improving accuracy and efficiency, including implementing best...
