Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Patient Benefit Coordinator conducts eligibility screenings and assesses patient’s financial requirements for third party insurance options. You will report to the Manager. PG07 | Full Time | Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm | Patient Benefit Coordinator Connecting Kids to Coverage Program | Weekly Earned Wage Access is an Option for this Position | Primary Tasks: - Interview and patients to determine eligibility for resources. - Update patient’s records after each screening. - Educate patients on available insurance options, provide quotes, and help with the application and referral process. - Navigate the patient through the ACA/Marketplace application and ensure the necessary documentation is submitted; assist applicants on coverage and changes to coverage. - Review program eligibility guidelines, coverage options, and Native American policies and benefits. - Help patients in determining the program and assistance needed such as Patient Relations, Emergency Services, Choctaw Referred Care, or Housing. - Advocate for patients, screen uninsured patients for alternate resources, and educate patients on the process of obtaining covera...
