JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. High Voltage Test Technician will operate and perform testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of Doble Engineering test equipment for the Phenix Technologies product line. The individual must be capable of meeting multiple deadlines for large test equipment This role will be based in our Accident, MD location reporting to Test Department Supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics - Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair all other Phenix / Doble equipment including MTS R2 units, VLF Thumper, X-ray tester, plasma generator etc. In addition to all tier 1 and tier 2 equipment. - Testing and calibration of all portable products units when necessary - Complete all load calculations for duty cycle testing - Perform partial discharge measurements along with a high level of diagnosis and repair - Complete upgrades, repairs, and calibrations on non-phenix units - Use of kilovoltmeters, multi-meters, potential transformers, current transformers, and other equipment used for testing and calibrating high voltage, high current test equipment - Document complete test procedures performed on test equipment -...
