Position Summary The Arts and Programs Associate will help manage and coordinate all The Latinx Project's (TLP) events and public humanities programming (from panels to art exhibitions to fellowships) in consultation with The Latinx Project (TLP) team. Liaise with artists, curators, academics, and invited collaborators to ensure the smooth execution of programs. Assist in the selection of curators and artists-in-residence and public humanities fellows. Provide administrative support with the application of NYU administrative systems, focusing on events and programming as well as grant reporting related to programs and exhibitions. Develop and maintain an active presence for TLP events through The Latinx Project website, social media, newsletter and other communications channels. Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in humanities or arts fields preferred. Master's Degree in public humanities, arts, visual culture, Latinx Studies or related fields Required Experience: 3+ years experience with events/arts and arts and cultural programming Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent organizational and planning skills.
