Job Responsibilities The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is seeking a Veteran Services Coordinator in the Veteran Student Success Center. This role serves as a VA School Certifying Official (SCO) by reviewing, processing, and submitting enrollment certifications to the Department of Veterans Affairs in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, this role will be responsible for the following: - Responsible for confirming the accuracy of each student’s enrollment details, including the courses they are registered for, the number of credit hours, and the academic term or session dates. - Will work to identify any potential shortfalls in a student’s benefit entitlement that could affect their ability to continue their education and will contact students. - Responsible for adding all new students to the VA’s Enrollment Management system. - Maintain accurate records of certifications, adjustments, and student enrollment changes to ensure compliance with VA regulations and institutional policies. - Processes enrollment updates, schedule adjustments, and term corrections related to VA education benefits, while reviewing student records and supporting documentation to confi...
