Description JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, Corporate Commercial, the Legal Counsel 2 provides practical, solutions-focused legal advice on a wide range of corporate commercial matters at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). The role has a primary focus on operational and commercial services agreements, procurement, technology, and research and innovation, supporting time-sensitive initiatives that enable the delivery of health care services across the organization. This position involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a high volume of commercial contracts and advising leaders and teams on legal risk, compliance, and project delivery considerations. The Legal Counsel 2 works closely with internal stakeholders across clinical, operational, and corporate functions, and collaborates with other members of the in-house legal team to support VCH’s strategic and operational objectives. Experience with privacy and data-related matters is considered an asset.
