Job description

Perform quality repairs, modifications and fabrications on equipment, machinery, structures and high pressure vessels using advanced welding techniques. How you will contribute: - Recordkeeping: Locate parts and materials. Provide repair estimates. Maintain accurate records of completed work. - Repairs and Modifications: Weld and accurately cut metal to repair a variety of equipment. Perform precise modifications to various equipment as required to adapt equipment for special accessories. - Welding: Perform certified welding on equipment, bridges, ferryboats, existing buildings and new construction and framework and high-pressure vessels. Ensure welds meet certification standards. What will make you successful: - Ability to fabricate components to meet required specifications. - Ability to maintain accurate records of work performed. - Ability to perform welding on equipment and structures such as bridges, buildings or high-pressure vessels using advanced welding techniques and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches. - Ability to safely weld in an overhead position. - Knowledge of AC, DC and arc electric welding techniques. - Knowledge of various materia...
