Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Routinely performs all the duties of a home infusion pharmacist but also utilizes a large amount of their assigned work time to a specialty area within the pharmacy that provides direct support or training for other staff. This pharmacist would routinely manage IV patient therapies both at home and in the infusion suite. This position often requires odd work schedules, off-site meetings, on-call time and weekend shifts to maintain software systems while not disrupting departmental operations. What you will need: Five year bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy. Specialist in one or more areas of expertise within the pharmacy such as pharmacy software maintenance, hardware upkeep, training of pharmacy personnel or communication with outside technical departments (TIS). Preferred Advanced training in their area of specialty. Credentials/Licensure: Minimum Current registered pharmacist license and controlled substance license issued by the Michigan State Board of Pharmacy.
