JOB SUMMARY: The Radiologic Technologist I must be competent and functional in one modality. Performs technical procedures to obtain radiographic films of various portions of the body using recognized radiographic techniques to assist physicians in diagnosis of diseases and injuries with a minimum of ionizing radiation being applied. Requires social maturity and poise to respond appropriately and communicate courteously and effectively with a wide range of internal personnel and general public. Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiological Technology. Must have current KY Radiation Operators General Certificate and be registered by the ARRT. Prefer a minimum of one to two years experience. Qualified new graduates are acceptable. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
