Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology (NWWI)

Job description

The selected candidate would join an established group of 7 General Gastroenterologists, 1 Advanced Endoscopist and 6 APPs in providing gastroenterology services in the NWWI Region. The NWWI Gastroenterology division is in a state of growth, not only in size, geographic patient care and services. The Gastroenterology NP/PA will provide support to the growing practice by seeing patients primarily in the inpatient hospital, independently in the Eau Claire location, as well as could be seeing occasional patients in the outpatient clinic. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and various allied health staff on a multi-disciplinary team by providing comprehensive assessments, ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating a diagnostic impression, developing, and implementing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and prescription of pharmacological agents and non-pharmacological therapies.
