Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences Job Description: Position Overview The primary responsibilities of the Adjunct Faculty member are the instruction and coordination of the Biopharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Control course for the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences. Candidates will be expected to have a strong commitment to innovative teaching and active learning. The course will be taught in the spring. Course Description: This course will provide an introduction to the concepts and requirements for global pharmaceutical quality compli ance. The course will address current Good manufacturing practices (cGMP); Quality considerations for Biosimilars; the Stability of Biotechnology products; FDA inspection processes and other quality aspects associated with the manufacture of Biopharmaceuticals . This course provides foundational knowledge for ensuring product quality.
