Job Description Do you want to shape the delivery of Scotland’s Census, enabling governments and other public bodies to plan the services we all rely on, and telling the story of Scotland's people for generations to come? If so, this post could be for you. Census is a major program delivered by the National Records of Scotland (NRS). Planning for the next census in 2031 has begun and will build on the successes of the census in 2022. We are seeking a skilled and motivated C1 Community Engagement Lead to join the Scotland’s Census team on a 12-month temporary promotion or temporary level transfer. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of our community engagement strategy. This role requires strong leadership, management, and influencing skills to ensure broad participation, particularly from hard-to-count groups. As the Community Engagement Lead you will design inclusive outreach initiatives that address diverse community needs, leveraging the latest behavioural science research.
