Steel Production Worker: Concord Rebar Position Summary: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker is responsible for operating various shop equipment to prepare steel orders for on-time delivery to Salit customers. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and customer quality standards. This position is based at our Concord location: 300 Connie Crescent, Concord, ON L4K 5R2. This position requires the employee to work night shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am. However, training would be conducted on Morning shifts 6am - 2pm or afternoon shift 2pm- 10pm. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: - Operate machinery, equipment, and tools safely and efficiently. - Identify and retrieve structural steel and rebar from warehouse racks to fill customer orders. - Feed and unload processing machines as required. - Ensure machine guards are in place and materials are handled safely at all times. - Wear appropriate safety equipment as specified. - Operate overhead cranes (training and certification required prior to operation). - Operate cutting saws, rebar benders, and shears (training provided). - Use measuring tape to verify materia...
