Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for a school district located in O'Fallon, Illinois The selected candidate will have a direct impact on culinary operations as he or she will be responsible for culinary training and food quality across the district. What You'll Do: - be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production - oversee the PrimeroEdge food management system for multiple units - menu development - ensure Sodexo and USDA Culinary standards including recipe compliance are food quality are implemented and maintained - oversee catering functions within the district - have the ability and willingness to motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid staff) - provide stellar customer/client service - ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance - have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
