IIoT Platform Operations Engineer

Job description

We are seeking an Operations Engineer to ensure the reliability of our services and support seamless day-to-day operations across our teams. In this role, you will act as the first point of response for incidents and requests related to our global IIoT platform, maintain connectivity with Azure IIoT Hub, and manage communications with edge gateways deployed at customer sites. You might be our missing piece if you have: Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, ports, and routing basics). Hands-on Linux operational skills (SSH, log inspection, service status/restarts, basic file permissions). An understanding of HTTPS/TLS certificates and ability to follow renewal and validation procedures. Experience monitoring systems via dashboards and alerts, with the ability to perform first-response incident handling. The ability to triage incidents, collect logs/diagnostics, and escalate issues with clear documentation. Basic troubleshooting skills for connectivity issues (DNS resolution, ports/HTTPS, VPN/client connectivity). The comfort working with procedures, runbooks, and escalation paths.
