This role requires broad and deep knowledge of care ‑ management principles, including performance improvement, healthcare finance (contractual arrangements, utilization and quality metrics), regulatory standards, discharge planning, social services, industry benchmarks and utilization management. The Senior Director leads, supports, and coaches transition planners, social workers, and managers while fostering strong collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners.
