Overview The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences (SHS) at Utah State University is seeking a practicum mentor to support graduate students in the Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) graduate training program. This role involves mentoring students as they provide LSL Deaf Education services, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies needed to effectively serve children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) and their families. The practicum mentor will provide guidance, feedback, and evaluation of student performance across a range of clinical and educational settings, with an emphasis on evidence-based and family-centered practices. The mentor plays a key role in supporting students as they translate coursework into practice and demonstrate competencies aligned with national professional standards.
