Job Description IDNYC is New York City’s successful municipal ID program that is available to all New Yorkers. For some New York City residents who do not have identification, they may experience barriers when trying to open bank accounts, acquire ATM cards, file police complaints or lease apartments. IDNYC aims to bridge that gap. Under general supervision of the IDNYC Assistant Deputy Commissioner, with latitude for independent judgment and unreviewed action and decision, the Senior Policy, Contract and Strategy Advisor perform legal, strategy and policy work for the IDNYC program. The Senior Policy, Contract and Strategy Advisor is a core member of the IDNYC leadership team collaborating with the Assistant Deputy Commissioner, program directors, deputy directors and agency leadership to implement the IDNYC Program strategic plan.
