Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

Job description

Position Summary: Reporting to the Director, Operations, the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance (Poultry Operations) leads the implementation of the Company’s quality and food safety vision and strategic plan. The individual ensures the Company’s overall quality assurance, food safety control, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction for the facility under their care are successfully implemented and continually challenged. Furthermore, this position liaises internally with cross functional teams, Corporate QA leadership and Plant management. Externally, the incumbent will liaise with regulatory agencies, industry, and customer representatives. The incumbent also acts as Sofina’s expert on Primary Poultry processing from a QA, food safety and regulatory perspective, and animal welfare expert within MPIP performance standards.
