Job description

An integral member of the UK HSE team, the post holder will have responsibilities for the Carlisle site, including advising managers on the legal requirements affecting Health, Safety and the Environment and carrying out Safety and Environment inspections and audits at the discretion of senior management. Support will also be required for other sites including Burton and Didcot on an occasional basis. Role Responsibilities: - Ensuring that HSE management system requirements are implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 specification - Ensuring that reports on the performance of the HSE management systems are created for presentation by HSE Manager to top management for review and as a basis for improvements of the HSE management systems - Advising on current legislation, affecting Safety, Health and the Environment - Advising on the prevention of injury to personnel.
