Senior Underwriting Specialist - General Liability Specialty Lines REMOTE

This highly specialized client facing General Liability, Excess and Surplus position is responsible for agency marketing, risk selection, underwriting, pricing, cross-sell initiatives with other business units. Initially this position will gain and service new and renewal business as well as assist in the development of new products, which is critical as we build out the unit. This position will work independently with limited supervision requiring proven expertise in General Liability with Excess & Surplus Lines experience to be successful in role. - Vetting of submissions – New and renewal business. Includes analyzing the risk, loss runs, exposures, terms, profit, and loss statements, emails, and calls with the brokers. - Pricing tool and Quote / Binder workbook – completing the pricing tool and pricing of the accounts. - Preparing quotes & binders to release to brokers. Figure out proper terms and exclusions that are unique to each account.
