Department: 03160 GCMG Pediatric Oncology: 1001 Blythe - Pediatrics: Hematology/Oncology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 4.2 FTE APPs providing coverage 13 hrs/day 365 days/year, 7 days/week. M-F 2 APPs, Sat & Sun 1 APP. Pay Range: $47.50 - $71.25 The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Program at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Pediatric Advanced Care Practitioner to join their inpatient APP team. The inpatient APP will function within a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care for children and young adults with various oncologic and hematologic diagnoses in our Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. About the Opportunity: · Manages pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses requiring level of inpatient progressive care, and coordinate escalated level of care as the patient requires. · Rounds daily with all members of the multidisciplinary team to collaboratively develop patient’s care plan. · Implements evidence based medicine as outlined by best practice guidelines, and assigned patient treatment protocols · Writes chemotherapeutic order sets.
