Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time Compensation: $80-$200 per hour Responsibilities: 1. Book Selection 2. Syllabus Development - Identify books that are engaging, age-appropriate, and perceived by parents as educationally valuable. - Ensure selected texts are suitable for teaching targeted reading and writing skills. - Clearly delineate which portions of each book will be covered during class instruction and which sections are to be completed as independent reading outside of class. - Build an ELA reading and writing course syllabus aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). - Integrate key assessment frameworks, including MAP, i-Ready, and state-level standardized tests. - Map core reading, writing, and critical thinking skills to selected literary works. Requirements: Professional Background: - Proven experience in curriculum framework design or textbook/material development. - A master's degree or higher in Education, English Education, or a related field (preferred).
