Summary Job Description: Eligible for Sign-on Bonus Sign-on bonus is reserved for new hires meeting eligibility criteria BHMG Urgent Care Rogersville Rd: MUST have LMR or Radiologic Technologist with your Medical Assistant experience. The Medical Assistant/ RT or LMR assists the staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems. They perform selected treatments, procedures and routine duties under the supervision of physicians and the Practice Manager/Practice Coordinator. Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment. They function as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Effectively communicates with patients to determine changes in health status since last visit, including medications, and records in EMR. - Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in department. - Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases. - Performs all radiographic exams as required. - Collects patient histories and other related i...
