Job description

Job Title: Entry Level Operator Summary: Duties of the Chemical Operator position include the operation of manufacturing process equipment, packaging finished products and general labor throughout the facility. This position assists operators and crafts as necessary and assigned, with increasing responsibility for operations and product quality. This is a Union Non-Exempt position. The starting pay rate for this role is $26.43 per hour, plus eligible shift differential pay. Responsibilities Include: Area-specific task requirements as outlined on the job/task qualification documents . Work/train anywhere in the area operation as assigned, including assisting with production . Properly fill, label, and position all hazardous and non-hazardous waste in identified storage/pickup areas . Perform housekeeping to ensure area safety and maintain audit-ready condition . Complete equipment clean-outs/turnarounds as required to ensure proper operation . Follow all standard operation and business procedures, safety, environmental, and quality guidelines, plant standards, and codes of conduct .
