Location: Abilene Maternal Fetal Medicine Department: Maternal Fetal Medicine Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: Cook Children's is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (AAP) to join our clinic in Abilene, Texas. The Maternal Fetal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (APP), which may include Nurse Practitioners (NP’s), Physician Assistants (PA’s), or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) functions in a collaborative practice to deliver specialized care to high-risk obstetric patients under the direction and supervision of MFM physicians. Autonomously performs patient assessment, diagnosis, and intervention according to approved protocols. Supports physician to develop and maintain patients. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide high risk adjunctive prenatal care and consulting, coordinate diagnostic testing, and manage complex maternal and fetal conditions. Provides office coverage for physician(s) during periods of absence. Education & Experience: Advanced Practice Registered Nurses: Master’s Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
