About the Role: Job Summary A unit based Technician that will provide direct assistance in patient care of diverse ED patient population. This position will also be directly responsible to perform duties such as Point of Care Testing, General Phlebotomy, and Sample Collection. Within the scope of practice of the EMT Intermediate/Advanced, Promotes and establishes criteria for the delivery of quality care. Under the direction of Licensed Nursing Staff provides assistance and performs care with in the scope of practice. This position will care for patients in the adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.
