Description The Diagnostic Technician specializes in using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems in vehicles. Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: - Use diagnostic equipment to scan vehicles for codes and identify potential problems. - Analyze diagnostic data to pinpoint the root cause of issues. - Perform tests and inspections to verify diagnoses. - Repair or replace faulty components as needed. - Stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques. Customer Service: - Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle repairs. - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service. Administrative Tasks: Other duties as assigned. - Complete necessary paperwork, including repair orders and work estimates. - Manage inventory of parts and supplies. - Maintain a clean and organized work area.
