Job Description Butcher Role at Wigan: Monday- Friday, 7am-4pm: £34,948 Due to company growth, our in-house team of specialist craft Butchers, would like to welcome another Butcher to join the team based from our Carver and Co Depot part of Sysco GB in Wigan. We offer exclusive cuts of British and Irish beef, all butchered, prepared, aged, stored and packed on site. As our new Butcher you will work alongside the small team of operatives to support a wide variety of tasks across the production operation. You can expect to be preparing a variety of meat products such as prime steak cuts, chops and roast joints. Duties will include boning, cutting and trimming into portions as per customer requirements. At all times you'll be providing high-quality products as well as maintaining excellent standards of health and safety, food safety and HCAPP compliance. Alongside providing support to the training of our Butchery Operatives in basic meat trimming and meat preparation skills.
