Description Opportunity available for an amicable General Diagnostic Radiologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the Number 1 Best Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth. Candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent, have completed a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training in any diagnostic subspecialty and be ABR-certified/eligible. Eligibility for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment is required. Divisional duties include interpreting a full range of diagnostic imaging studies and providing consultation to referring physicians as well as clinical expertise with radiograph interpretation. Body CT imaging and general ultrasound is also expected. Nuclear medicine training and experience is desirable. Interventional, neuroradiology, mammography, cross-sectional musculoskeletal imaging or pediatric radiology is not required. Call responsibilities are rotated equally among the group with separate ER in-house coverage for after hours.
