Winchester Gardens is seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist Coordinator to join our team! Winchester Gardens is a Springpoint Senior Living community located in Maplewood, NJ. We are seeking a full-time Infection Preventionist Coordinator to join our team. At Springpoint, the Infection Preventionist Coordinator is responsible for identifying, investigating, monitoring, and reporting healthcare associated infections in accordance with current federal, state, local regulations, and to ensure that an effective infection prevention and control program is always maintained. Responsibilities: - Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the community infection prevention program to prevent, recognize, and control the onset and spread of infection. - Oversees the community’s antimicrobial stewardship program that includes antibiotic use & prescribing protocols, laboratory communication, and a system for monitoring antimicrobial - Analyzes, identifies, and presents trends/variances and develops performance improvement. - Review and analyze laboratory reports and consult with Director of Nursing & Medical Director to develop the plan of care to assure that aseptic techniques...
