Trainee Fitter/Fabricator Have you recently completed your Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering course? Ready to kickstart your career? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a full time, permanent Trainee Fitter Fabricator to join our team. From our facility in Hastings, we work on applications and manufacture bespoke systems for exciting global projects such as space launches, 5G technology, O-led TV’s, flexible solar panels to name just a few. As a KJLC Trainee, you will undergo training to become a qualified engineer through a UK-recognised programme. We will also enroll and support you in obtaining a Higher National Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering. This position combines full-time employment with college attendance. As the Trainee Welder, you will learn to layout, cut, fit, and tack various assemblies using the Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) process. Key Job Elements: A standard working week is 40 hours, Monday – Thursday (8am – 5pm) with an early finish Friday.
