H2M architects + engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm, is expanding its Water and Wastewater Engineering team. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical backgrounds in water resources, stormwater, and wastewater systems. Ideal candidates will have expertise in biological nutrient removal technologies, hydraulics, sludge conditioning and disposal, treatment, storage, and distribution projects, and civil/site design. This position is seated in our Melville, NY office. Job Responsibilities: - Perform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment process through design to construction. - Lead engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications with support of senior level engineering staff - Conduct construction administration and on-site resident support activities, including construction phase management activities, coordination of shop drawing reviews and RFI responses, and lead the development of construction change orders. - Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis. - Lead administrative...
