Overview Restorative Nursing Assistant Primary Job Function The primary purpose of this position is to carry out restorative nursing functions. The restorative care plans are developed according to the need of each individual resident to ensure that the resident is able to increase or maintain their highest possible functioning level while in the care of our facility. Responsibilities: Restorative Nursing Assistant Primary Responsibilities: Performing and providing written/verbal care assignments, routine skills and procedures to ensure the quality of care to residents. This includes: - Providing direct restorative care and delegated formalized therapy tasks as assigned, completing work accurately, safely and in a timely manner; - Participating in all aspects of restorative care programming and facilitating such programs (i.e., range of motion, walking, etc.); - Assisting Restorative Nurse in administering the Bowel and Bladder Program and assisting direct care staff with scheduled toileting; - Notifying the Charge Nurse/Restorative Nurse when a resident is regressing/progressing or refusing participation in the program so that an assessment can be done by nursing staff and changes...
