Job description

The General Technical Inspector (TI) is responsible for performing detailed inspections, quality assurance, and verification of maintenance actions on aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure safe flying in accordance with U.S. Army aviation standards, Technical Manuals (TMs), and contractual requirements. This position ensures compliance with all maintenance procedures, documentation accuracy, and airworthiness standards. The General Technical Inspector also supports site management functions, including personnel oversight, scheduling, and coordination of MFEDS (Modernized Flexible Engine Diagnostic System) operations and blade shop work activities to maintain optimal mission readiness and operational efficiency at the site. Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electromechanical systems in accordance with maintenance manuals, test procedures and other military publications.
