Summary Under minimal supervision prepares food for various areas of the department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Education: PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent Experience: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment Certifications: REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District #LI-GF2 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
