Job description

JVIC is looking for a detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler who is highly qualified in scheduling, to work in our Freeport Division with turnaround projects. - Assist the project manager in developing project scope of work for required Project Controls tasks - Study and understand all relevant project documents pertaining to the preparation of schedules - Work with all relevant project and discipline personnel to prepare schedules - Convert the scope of work document into a logically linked, resourced project schedule - Prepare realistic, achievable schedules using logical networks and where necessary integrate engineering, procurement, and construction schedules with an emphasis on the engineering and procurement pieces - Develop progress curves and manpower histograms - Monitor progress against project schedule and prepare progress reports - Collect expended man-hours and prepare Earned Value reports and analysis - Prepare, review, and ensure the timely issue of all relevant reports to stakeholders - Verbally and in writing advise project management and discipline personnel on impacts, and contingencies and generally guide the scopes towards the earliest possible finish - Provide rea...
