Job Title: Production Planning Specialist II Responsible for coordinating the work of various departments involved in the production of high quality products. Roles and Responsibilities: - Plans and schedules production orders based on established priorities and the availability of required materials and capacity. Follows up to determine actual performance versus estimates. - Computes amount of material required to complete job orders. - May train supervisors and other employees on basic MFGPro functions, such as dispatch lists, cycle count sheets, transaction, work orders, and other key product flow functions. - Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping date according to sales forecasts and customer orders. Coordinates with the manufacturing floor to actively manage the production schedule. - May assist with work load scheduling on the floor as needed. - Assembles work order packets complete with work order router, completion dates, and in...
