Professional | Full-Time | Commercial Vestas Development is a business unit within Vestas Wind Systems that is responsible for developing wind farms globally. This position will be focused in the European region under the Vestas Development Operations team that provides support services to all of the European development teams. Responsibilities: Qualifications: Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects. Experience in renewable energy, particularly wind farms, is highly desirable. Competencies: Demonstrated experience managing and delivering pre-construction activities, including site assessment, design coordination, and permitting processes. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, including earthworks, foundations, road design, drainage systems, and geotechnical considerations. Proficiency in design and analysis tools, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D, is required, along with experience in swept path analysis and access route planning tools such as AutoTURN and Sierra Roads (or equivalent).
