A Brief Overview: Speech-Language Pathologist-RPE/CFY is a temporarily licensed professional who has completed academic and clinical preparations to function as a semi-autonomous member of the patient care team. The SLPRPE/ CFY completes 9-12 months of paid professional employment under the supervision of a licensed/certified speech-language pathologist as required by California State law and/or the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The Speech-Language Pathologist-RPE/CFY provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the assessment and treatment of children and adults with communication disorders.
