Production Technician - 26000068 Description Job Overview: Under direction of facility management, the Production Technician will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and duties in the production facility. The Production Technician will be responsible for operating a steam-methane reforming (SMR) facility while meeting all safety, environmental, corporate, efficiency and production requirements. Responsibilities: - Obtain knowledge required to operate and troubleshoot the various types of equipment associated with Steam Methane Reformers. - Top fired heater - Reactors - High pressure steam system - Pressure swing adsorption unit. - Pumps and compressors - Analytical equipment - Drums and knockout pots - Cooling water system - Instrument air system. - Flare operations. - H2 Product delivery - Monitor the Process. This includes making rounds, completing reading sheets, water sampling and ensuring environmental permit limit and process limits are adhered to. - Learn how to identify hazards, safe out equipment, and write safe work permits. - Learn the importance of Housekeeping. - Field Qualify at one of the SMR Facilities.
