Job description

This is a hybrid role supporting the logistics team with traffic coordination and carrier updates. A background in transportation, logistics, or carrier management is preferred. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required. Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, load consolidation, and the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team. SUMMARY: Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including clerical work, order entry, planning appointments, track and trace, document scanning, and assisting Logistics Specialists in support of the overall import/export process. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Support basic customer needs by answering phones, managing email volume, and becoming familiar with customer accounts · Utilize transportation software to track and trace vessel and terminal schedules and generate reports for visibility · Collaborate with Logistics Specialists and warehouse staff to achieve daily goals · Support Logistics Specialists with planning appointments and coordinating orders · Assist with billing every 1-3 days and ensure rates are accurate · Researc...
