Description Hoyle Tanner's Northeast Ground Transportation Services Group is looking for a Resident Engineer to join our team in our Manchester or Portsmouth, NH office. Primary Responsibilities: - Monitor and review spent hours and dollars versus percent complete in relation to project timelines and budget and provide recommendations to the Project Manager to stay on track - Understand the client's organization and develop professional relationships with client peers - Develop proficiency in software programs and other tools to support construction inspection and review processes - Provide suggestions to resolve project timeline issues and budget issues - Provide peer mentoring for new construction technician staff - Review and approve progress payments submitted by the Contractor and monitor and advise the Contractor and the Client on potential cost overruns/underruns - Facilitate difficult project decisions and technical issues with clients and contractors - Ensure as-built field conditions are well documented and defended - Lead regular meetings with clients and contra...
